Pricing
Honest pricing, scoped upfront
Every project starts with a written, fixed-price proposal — you know exactly what it costs and what is included before any work begins. The ranges below are genuine figures from recent projects, not marketing bait.
Not ready for a new build? If you already have a WordPress site that's slow or expensive to maintain, amigration to Astro starts at £1,200 — you keep your content and rankings, and it's the lowest-cost way to work with us.
What our work costs
Real ranges, not "from £99" bait. Every card links to the service page with full details, and all prices exclude VAT — your written quote will be exact.

Why not a £50-a-month website?
You'll see local offers from £399 one-off or £40–£50 a month. Those are a different product — a rented template, not a website you own. An honest comparison:
Ownership
Stop paying a subscription and the site usually disappears with it. Our builds are yours outright — code, content, and domain — with no lock-in and nothing to keep renting.
Three-year cost
£50 a month is £1,800 over three years for a shared template. From £3,500 once, an Astro site you own costs pennies to host and is built around your business, not a theme.
Built to be found
Template sites rarely rank. Ours ship with performance and SEO foundations measured in Core Web Vitals — the difference between a business card and a lead channel.
And the honest flip side: if your budget is genuinely under £4,000 and your needs are simple, a template or DIY builder is the rational choice — we say the same in the FAQ below, and ourfree SEO audit will tell you what your current site needs either way.
How we quote
Four steps from first conversation to a supported launch — with the price fixed in writing before any work starts.
Discovery call
Tell us what you are building and why. We ask the awkward questions early — scope, integrations, content, deadlines — so the quote is accurate rather than optimistic.
Written fixed-price proposal
You receive an itemised proposal in writing: what is included, what is not, the timeline and the milestones. Once agreed, the price only changes if the scope does.
Milestone delivery
Work ships against agreed milestones with a working staging environment, so you see progress — and pay for it — in stages, never all upfront.
30-day post-launch support
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support. We monitor for errors and fix anything that is not right, at no extra cost.
Pricing FAQs
Straight answers to the money questions clients ask before starting a project.
Why do you publish ranges rather than exact prices?
Because no two projects are identical, and a single headline price would either overcharge simple projects or hide costs on complex ones. The ranges on this page are genuine figures from recent work. Your exact price comes as a written, fixed proposal after a discovery call — and once agreed, it does not move unless the scope does.
What moves a project up or down within a range?
The usual factors: number of pages or screens, integrations with other systems (CRMs, payment providers, booking tools), whether content and design assets are ready or need producing, e-commerce or membership functionality, and compliance requirements. We itemise all of this in the proposal so you can adjust scope before committing.
What are your payment terms?
Projects are invoiced in stages: a deposit to book the build, then payments tied to agreed milestones, with the final balance due at launch. Monthly retainers are invoiced at the start of each month and cancellable with 30 days notice. We never ask for the full project cost upfront.
Do your prices include VAT?
No — all prices on this page exclude VAT, which is added to invoices at the standard UK rate where applicable. If you are a VAT-registered business you can usually reclaim it.
What ongoing costs should I budget for?
Hosting is the main one, and it is usually small: Astro sites run on Cloudflare for little or nothing per month, self-hosted n8n costs £30–£80/month, and Superset hosting is £30–£60/month. Add your domain, any third-party services you choose (CMS, email, analytics), and an optional support retainer if you want us handling updates and improvements.
Do you work with budgets under £4,000?
Sometimes — WordPress to Astro migrations start around £1,200 and automation projects from £2,500, so both fit comfortably. For a brand-new website under £4,000 we will usually tell you honestly that a template or DIY builder is better value than custom work. Start with our free SEO audit to see what your current site actually needs, and if you tell us your budget we will give you straight advice on where it is best spent — even if the answer is not "hire us".
